EFA (Trading) Limited is the commercial arm of the Essex Fire Authority. It was formed in 2005 following many years of sucess as a Fire Authority trading account. Since then we have seen our trading activities go from strength to strength.

All profit generated by the company is returned through a charity donation to support community fire safety initiatives.

The company comprises of two divisions.

Engineering Services:

• Repair & preventative maintenance of commercial vehicles & cars on a long term contractual or ad hoc basis
• Sale & Refurbishment of second life fire appliances and equipment
• Hire of Fire appliance and equipment
• Accident repairs
• Advice to Fire & Rescue Authorities and lease companies on disposals policy including end of lease inspections, condition reports and valuations.
• Compartment Fire Behaviour Training Instructors courses (EDEXCEL accredited)
